Riffey Chiropractic is now offering the Neurological Relief Center (NRC) technique!

In addition to our special chiropractic techniques - Activator and Muscle Testing - we are now certified to offer the Neurological Relief Center (NRC) technique. This technique expands our ability to address chronic pain and special conditions. The neurological relief center technique was designed to address the meninges and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Many symptoms may be explained by compression of the meninges – the three-membrane protective sheath of the spinal cord and brain - by encroachment or twisting. This may be caused by accidents, trauma and even stress.

The NRC technique has been helpful to thousands of patients nationwide suffering from a wide range of neurologically-based symptoms.  These symptoms can be caused by a variety of conditions, including:

- Fibromyalgia
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Headaches/Migraines
- Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Lupus
- MS
- Post-stroke symptoms
- RSD
- Bladder and urination problems
- Skin disorders

There are many other neurologically-based symptoms with non-specific diagnoses that may be helped by the NRC technique. Those symptoms include:

- Chronic, widespread pain
- Painful hypersensitivity to pressure
- Tingling of skin
- Numbness
- Muscle spasms
- Weakness in the limbs
- Nerve pain
- Bowel problems
- Insomnia or sleep problems
- Cognitive disorders (called “fibrofog” or “brain fog”)
- Difficulty in concentrating
- Memory problems
- Decreased attention and ability to multi-task
- Anxiety/Depression
- Irritability
- Nervousness
- Rashes

The Dr.'s Riffey can provide help with treating these often debilitating symptoms and get you back on the road towards health and wellness.

Consultation with a physician and testing for meningeal compression is offered by Riffey Chiropractic at no charge. For more information about the NRC technique and to see patient testimonials, please visit www.nrc.md.

Dr. Riffey Asks some important questions of interest to Rocklin residents - Chiropractor Rocklin Dr. Riffey Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
